Accreditation Governance, Sponsorship, Affliations & Recognition
Good News Theological Seminary has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Education, Republic of Ghana since 2008. The Bachelor of Theology and Diploma in Pastoral Ministries programs are also accredited.
The Seminary is governed by a Governing Council made up of Christian lay men and women and ministers drawn from the supporting Churches and friends of the College/Seminary.
The Seminary is sponsored by church bodies and associations, as well as individual Christians, who share the Mission and Vision of the seminary. The school is always happy to add to the numbers of those who want to help serve the church through this special ministry.
GNTCS is affiliated to the Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission and Culture (ACI) at Akropong-Akwapim, in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The ACI ensures the quality of academic programs of GNTCS, employees and the academic entry qualifications of students. Diplomas and Degrees are awarded by the ACI.
The seminary is a member of West African Association of Theological Institutions (WAATI),
The Conference of African Theological Institutions (CATI), Ghana Association of Theological Education by Extension (GATEE) and the All African Association of Theological Education by Extension (AAATEE).
The seminary is recognized by many African Instituted Churches and other ecumenical bodies such as, The Council of African Independent Churches in Ghana (CAICG) and the Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC).
